The Group has grown organically as a network of Spin-outs since the establishment of Virtual Trip Ltd in September 2000 at the Science & Technology Park of Crete in Heraklion, Greece, boosted by the strong entrepreneurial drive of its team.

The foundation of Virtual Trip’s growth strategy is based on the development of top quality, state of the art solutions offering highly competitive value for money. Accentuating this factor, the Group has grown as a network of Spin-outs, ensuring flexibility, agility and a strong entrepreneurial focus. The distribution of its products is achieved through an extensive international network of Value-Added Reselling Partners with strong technical competencies and deep knowledge of their local markets, each supported by a handful of antenna-offices – group subsidiaries around the world.

Virtual Trip is recognized as the first successful high-tech student start-up in Greece as well as one of the fastest-growing companies in the domestic high-tech market, having grown by a factor of 60 in terms of revenue and by a factor of 12 in terms of personnel in less than nine years.
